After rushing home for a hot night of grooving to the beats, I was dismayed to discover that I’d temporarily misplaced my iPod. And my Sansa Fuse was on the fritz. Fortunately, Club Vibe has three modes: ambient, manual, and music. My first round consisted of exploring the manual mode’s seven pre-set vibration patterns. Like any tried-and-true bullet on the market, Club Vibe is good for a quick and dirty orgasm. With the little pink bullet pressed firmly on my little pink clit, I came in two minutes or less on the highest setting.

I then spent an unfortunate hour in ambient mode with one leg raised on my desk, the CV base held up to my computer speaker, picking up the beats of Pandora online radio, and experimenting with various musical genres. The experience was clumsy and chaotic. Beware Pandora’s commercial breaks! An extremely loud ad killed my mood quicker than a cold shower.

Club Vibe intensifies the musical experience but at a cost. Unless you’re a size “twig” who’s lucky enough to fit into the lacy pocketed panties included with the toy, you’re left to your own devices for keeping the bullet in its proper place. With one hand between my legs and the other on Club Vibe’s base box, I was frustrated by my inability to pinch my nipples as I played.

The idea of bringing this multi-corded contraption into the bedroom initially seemed daunting – an impression that proved true both alone and with a partner. The Club Vibe is such a wonderful adult toy. I would recommend it to anyone because it is so versatile. Just use your imagination: cyber sex, concerts, phone sex, and groovin' on the dance floor. It's a wet dream come true!
 

First off, I’d like to say that this is an amazing invention for anyone who enjoys public play in a discreet manner—especially for anyone that appreciates the creativity that can arise when the fields of technology and adult toys collide. This toy also makes a wonderful purchase for individuals that feel the connection between the expression of sexuality and music. What I mean is that when I have watched musicians closely, I can see that they become trance-like when they are playing, exuding an amazing energy that I feel is very sensual and wonderfully sexual. I can’t wait to use this toy the next time I see live music, as I imagine it will help me feel beats in a whole new way! The design of the Club Vibe is such that it is very easy to hide beneath clothes and the volume is very quiet, which is what makes it perfect for folks who are polite on the outside but naughty on the inside.

There are, however, a few things to be aware of with this toy, and I can offer some hints to both users and the designers after becoming acquainted with the Club Vibe. First, keep the packing coils that come with the cord; they are very helpful in keeping the wires from getting tangled. When this toy is used with headphones and plugged into an iPod or computer, there's a lot of stuff to keep organized. It can quickly become a rat’s nest if you are not careful. I would love to see the toy come with mini Velcro straps attached to the cords in the future.

Next, although I understand the concept behind including the black lace cotton panties with the pouch to hold the vibe, we all should know by now that one size does not fit all! I am a full-figured woman, but not obese. I wear a size 12. While the panties did fit me, they were very tight and uncomfortable. No woman larger than me would ever be able to wear them. No small woman could wear them either. Unfortunately, they ended up in my garbage can. Naturally, I will continue to use the toy with panties from my own personal collection or, better yet, with some tight stockings. I encourage the designers either to do away with the panties altogether or to offer them in a variety of sizes for both male and female bodies. I did really like the feel of the fabric and lace they used. If they were in my size and desired shape (not thong), I would happily wear them.

Finally, I would like to say that I am anxiously awaiting the next version of this toy because I think it is perfect for truly hot phone sex, but it is not quite technically advanced enough yet to pull it off all the time. I attempted to use it for this purpose, and although I did get it to work on my iPhone (and enjoyed the effect immensely), its consistency seems to be shaky. I’ve noticed that at times it takes some jiggling of the connectors to get it to work. All in all though, I will be able to explore numerous options and endless scenarios for quite some time with this toy, but I am just not truly convinced of its longevity yet. I do know that their customer service is excellent, and the OhMiBod website is really interesting, offering play possibilities I haven’t even had time to try, such as recommended play lists. I did enjoy listening to my own music collection on my computer, and normally I’d say that Nina Simone moves me, but this time I couldn’t stop squirming and smiling during the Gipsy Kings. I would imagine any person that loves loud clubs with booming music could have tremendous fun with the toy as well.
