The Guardian reports that seventeen British men appeared in a Greek court today charged with "scandal and misrepresentation of a costume or uniform." The men, aged between 18 and 65, were thought to be part of a stag party. Led into court in handcuffs,k the men were still sporting the same black outfits - homemade habits, garter belts, and thongs - that had caught the attention of the police.

A police official told Reuters that the group had been flashing other holidaymakers when they were arrested, "They were dressed like nuns, carrying crosses, but wearing thongs under their skirts and showing people their bottoms and the rest."

However, once the group appeared in court, the prosecution, in an apparent act of good faith, dropped all changed, and the men were allowed to walk free.
