Chinese Sex Theme Park Torn Down

We reported that Love Land, a theme park dedicated entirely to sex, was set to open in Chonqing, China, in October of this year. Well, Chinese officials have changed their mind and torn down the theme park over the weekend. Following an outcry from offficials, the park was order to be dismantled. Officials called the park "vulgar, ill-minded and misleading." While the park had been praised as it as a step toward sexual candor, many others had proclaimed it as vulgar and detrimental to Chinese society. At the order of government officials, the park was torn down over the weekend. So much for the sexual revolution in China.
