Margaret Cho on Racism, Miss California, and Being Queer

CNN's Reggie Aqui says, “Margaret Cho is all the things you aren’t suppose to talk about at the dinner table.” Aqui interviews Cho about her new TV show called Drop Dead Diva, which airs on Lifetime July 13th. He prompts her to examine her feelings of Asian representation on television, Miss California’s ugly ignorance, and her own commitment to equal rights. Cho appears calm and confident as she clearly identifies herself as a member of the Queer community, and defines what that means for her, as well as how she views her own sexuality and attractions. Cho states that she is “for relationships of all kinds, and for people to define themselves for however they like to.”
