CarnalNation Says Goodbye - For Now…

Update: We're not dead yet! We are in negotiation to transfer the magazine over to another very dedicated and talented group of individuals with a mission aligned with ours.   Stay tuned for exciting news on the continuation of CarnalNation.

As one of the founders of CarnalNation as well as its Editor-in-Chief, this is one of those terribly unfortunate letters that saddens me to write, but alas it must be done. Despite the incredible support and dedication of our contributors, editors, and readers who have all devoted tremendous time and effort to CarnalNation, the reality is that we are no longer able to sustain the online magazine. Effective today, we will cease to publish new content.

We want to extend our extreme gratitude to every person who has helped us along the way. We never would (or could) have existed without the hard work of the theorists, writers, and activists who came before us. We sincerely hope that CarnalNation has made some positive impact, not only on our readers but also for the future study of sexuality and gender.

The closure of CarnalNation in no way means that we won't continue to dedicate ourselves to making the world safer and more educated about sexuality and gender. Thank you again for all of your support. We will now be taking some long-overdue and well-needed time off.
