Google Instant: Gays OK, Lesbians Blocked
Clipped from: www.google.com (share this clip)
Goggle launched its new 'instant' search feature this week. Type in a search term and Google will make suggestions and update the results as you type.
It's fun to play with, if a little annoying. However, the new feature appears to have an obscenity filter; type in any of George Carlin's 7 dirty words and Google stays mute. Fair enough. Here's the kicker: Google apparently considers "lesbian" and "bisexual" to be obscenities. If you type "gay," the system will make suggestions, but try "lesbian" or "bisexual," and Google censors the results.

Lesbian:

Bisexual:
