Veronica Monet, a certified sexologist, sex educator and sex worker rights activist, was the keynote speaker at the recent Sex 2.0 conference in Seattle. Monet’s speech broadly covers the history of the feminist movement from the late nineteen hundreds to present day with an emphasis on the ever-persistent split (past and present) between sex-positive feminists and those that are committed to promoting purity and legislating morality.

Thank you and apologies . . .
Thank you Carnal Nation! Excellent presentation of my keynote. And I wish to express my apologies to Nadine Strossen - former president of the ACLU and a woman I admire very much! It was NOT her but second wave feminist Gail Dines who tried to have me removed as keynote at Kent State.
