A study has "proven" what many have long suspected: size does matter when it comes to female orgasms. However, it's not the size of one's manhood but the size of one's bank account that will give her the bigger and better O. The New York Daily News reports that two evolutionary biologists at Newcastle University, Thomas Pollet and Daniel Nettles, studied 5,000 people through the Chinese Health and Family Life Survey and found that one of the most influential factors on women's orgasms was the income of their partners. "We found that increasing partner income had a highly positive effect on women's self-reported frequency of orgasms," Pollet said in the Journal of Evolution and Human Behavior. The correlation held true even when such other factors as age, education, length of relationship, health, and happiness were considered.

Biologists have long believed that sex and money are bound together from an evolutionary perspective. The logic goes that since women must devote so much time and energy to childbirth and childcare, they would naturally look for a mate who could provide well for them. It does make a certain amount of sense; however, it is worth noting that the purported increased quality and quantity of orgasms due to money were self reported. There's an evolutionary logic to that, too.
