A Perfect Fit | Got Me "Ina" the Mood | Pleasant Pulsing |
The Ina is one of several LELO products I have been fortunate enough to try. It produces, by far, the most powerful vibe of any of their toys I’ve tested, which is always a major plus for me, since I enjoy vigorous clitoral stimulation. It is also the only toy LELO has produced that simultaneously stimulates my body both internally and externally. Actually the toy reminds me of a modern art redesign of the well-publicized rabbit vibrator, although its sleek presentation is a lot less bizarre for those individuals (like myself) who do not consider it sexy to wank off to representations of animals.
My experiences with testing toys has led me to believe that it is very difficult to produce a high quality vibrator that is made for both external and internal use. Of course, there are always exceptions to this but, for the most part, I find toys that try and do both usually end up falling a bit short on one of these goals. This is not the case with the LELO Ina; both the internal and external vibes thump wonderfully and fit my body appropriately.
I do feel it is important to note that I do not believe that the Ina is a beginner’s toy. Giving the Ina to someone who is not very experienced with toys could likely lead to frustration, as it does take some finagling to get the positioning of the toy to feel fully comfortable. The flexibility of the external vibe on this toy makes it possible to move the smaller vibrating part to the exact right spot for clitoral stimulation. This flexibility also makes it applicable to a variety of body shapes and sizes, but it is also what makes me say this is not a beginner’s toy. An individual has to have enough experience with toys to know that sometimes it takes a few attempts and readjustments for a toy to fit right. The Ina is not one of those toys that will cause you to instantly fly off into ecstatic bliss.
I recommend that the toy’s user shave or trim their pubic area prior to using the to,y as the silicone coating of the external vibe can uncomfortably tug on hair as the user tries to move the vibe to the exact right spot. In my experience, snagging pubic hair is a turn-off right up there with biting. I just don’t get off on it and instead become angered at the annoyingly uncomfortable feeling.
As for the part of this toy that is designed for internal use, the Ina has a wonderful shape for vaginal insertion. Its oval bulbous shape fit inside me very well and I found it to be designed perfectly for thumping upwards against my G-spot. Yes, I know I have a G-spot because I can feel it when a very strong sensation hits a particular spot inside me. We shouldn’t have to declare a month dedicated to the g-spot to give it an authentic place in women’s sexuality, but apparently some people need a bit more awareness about their body!

Nadia Boots
Nadia Boots is a San Francisco native who grew up surrounded by new-age hippy values and obsessive computer geeks. She survived by first getting lost in nature and books and then finding herself in the study and practice of human sexuality. Ms. Boots indulges this interest both academically and physically; she likes it both ways.
As with all new toys, I took Ina home and used her as soon as I could. Like a child, I also play with the toy’s box. Ina came in a very pretty box, a bright green to match the color of the toy. Within the green box was a heavy-duty, reusable black box in which the toy, a satin draw-string storage/travel bag, and a charger rested. The black box is a nice discreet location for home storage and the draw-string bag is great for taking the toy on the road.
Immediately upon getting her home and opening the boxes, I plugged Ina into the charger via the DC socket on the non-business end of the toy. While she was charging I took time to groom, as Ms. Nadia Boots told me Ina does not like a scruffy mound.
The directions, though the inexplicably reference “Lola” rather than Ina, are informative. For instance, I did not know before reading that there were a full eight different “stimulation modes,” continuous vibration mode and seven other modes of various vibration. All stimulation modes are interesting and, well, stimulating. The shaft, meant for vaginal penetration, and the branch, meant for clitoral stimulation, operate independently on some of the modes. Other modes sound downright musical and feel like waves moving from pussy to clit and back again.
Before Ina, I had never before used a vibrator meant for simultaneous vaginal penetration and clitoral stimulation. I was creeped out that they all appeared to have animal parts tickling the clit. I have absolutely no interest in having any kind of land or sea mammal anywhere near my clitoris. That Ina looks more like a saguaro cactus—minus the spines, of course—than any kind of animal is a huge plus for me. The pretty green color of my Ina further lends to the cactus-like look of the toy.
As I tend to be in the bigger-harder-faster-more school of fucking and masturbation, I jammed Ina’s shaft in me and pushed her branch hard onto my clit. When the branch was pushed hard its delicate vibration was dampened. It took me some time and a bit of frustration to figure out that the branch preferred a light touch. Finally, I determined that I could stimulate my clitoris in one of two ways: lightly, via the tickling vibrations of the branch tip, or hard, by moving the entire toy so the branch rubbed but did not vibrate. Both ways resulted in orgasm which is, of course, the point of masturbating.
However, “just” coming isn’t always enough for me; I had to find out what else Ina could do. I flipped her around so that the shaft was still in my pussy but the branch tickled my ass rather than my clit. That left room at my clit for another toy to work on it. Conveniently, I had other toys available for such purpose. After using Ina for anal tickling I’m sure to clean her with antibacterial soap, as suggested in the user manual.
Ina is fun and versatile, and should provide me with a lot more excitement, though considering she’s a little picky about how she’s used it’ll just be me and her; no threesomes for us.

Shazam is thankful she was raised by a sex-positive feminist lesbian who taught her that it’s ok to love (and fuck) anyone, which she does as often as possible.
I'll admit, I was excited when I heard that I was getting this toy. The LELO Ina is a sleek, modern version of a rabbit. Hurray! I have an old rabbit in my little arsenal of toys and I absolutely love it. Interior and exterior fun all at once! Of course my new lime green, rechargeable Ina came in a discreet black box, containing a silky satchel to store the toy, a 10-year guarantee (oh my, LELO is obviously making quality product!), a 1-year warranty, and detailed instructions.
My first impression of the Ina was fantastic. The shape of the larger extension is nicely curved and rounded, as is the littler nub. There are plus and minus signs on the vibration controls and up and down arrows to control the stimulation mode for the nub. The control interface actually lights up with a pretty blue light too. The material used on this little toy is super soft and smooth. I couldn't wait to try it.
Well, I tried it. Actually the hubby and I used it together. The vibe was nice; I loved the pulsing mode. But, I must admit, the controls were a smidge overwhelming. Maybe if I had been all alone with Ina, with no worries about a small child invading my time and space, I could've taken my time and practiced with it. But I'm not really the "practicing" kind of girl. It was also a bit noisy, as if you had put your ear right next to a hummingbird. Now the shape: the larger extension was nice, especially with the intense vibes. But the little nub did not seem to hit the right spot—by that I mean my clit. Now, I've given birth to three kids, so maybe my girl parts are a little off center, if you will, but the nub was curved towards the back, toward my entry way, and I had to manually bend it towards my clit the whole time we used it.
Maybe my expectations were geared up for something else with the Ina. Maybe I thought that she would be an updated version of my crazy long, twisting, gyrating, bead-filled rabbit. Maybe it was wrong of me to have those expectations, but Ina is back in her box. Sigh.

June Valentine
June Valentine is your typical housewife. Married for 13 years, she has three children and lives in a quiet suburban community. She started her sexual life quite prudishly: missionary style in a hushed manner only to be done in the middle of the night so as not to disturb the children or—God forbid—the neighbors! As she has gotten older, wiser, and more confident, she's come to realize that sex is—dare she say it—phenomenal when had adventurously, wildly, and with the added benefit of toys. June no longer confines herself to the bedroom, and she can't stand missionary style... She craves the outdoors and loves all things vibrating. She started out with one fluorescent orange vibrator and has since moved on to an entire box of toys of various shapes and sizes. Bullets, rabbits, cock rings, handcuffs, dildos, to name only a very few, are all tucked away in her little box of goodies—to be used when the moment strikes. Adding new things to her box will be a pleasure. June eagerly looks forward to experimenting with whatever devices are sent to her.- Tweet
