Anything Can Happen at this Sex (Un)Conference

Organizers of KinkForAll describe their event as an un-conference that allows the participants to shape the day-long set of sexuality-based discussion and activities. Their latest event, hosted on February 6th at Brown University, is intended “to inspire a creative, interactive and open environment where everyone feels comfortable discussing, learning about, and discovering the intersections of all kinds of sexuality with the rest of life.”

Interestingly, all organizing, planning and development involves collaboration between participants, so the free event can involve pretty much anything its attendees express interest in. However, no “sex” is allowed at the event (guests are welcome to plan related after-parties), as “KinkForAll is about talking with one another, not playing with one another.”

The un-conference utilizes social media tools to organize participants, who can update, edit and contribute to the event’s schedule online. Previous presentations at KinkForAll have addressed the topics of sexual adultism, Taoist sexual practices, coming out of the closet, sex work and gender. You can view videos of a selection of presentations here.
