Good Porn: Not an Oxymoron

Not all porn is created equal, nor is it always good. But I do believe that great porn does exist. How do I know this? I have seen it. I also know that the catch phrase “I know it when I see it” isn’t nearly descriptive enough to entice people to wade through hordes of overwhelmingly crappy material to find the “good stuff.” I have struggled many times with trying to explain the difference between “good” and “bad” porn. Regardless of an individual’s sexual preference, identity, or amorous mood, there are some common themes that are present across all good porn. I have always had a hard time finding the right words to help convey the overall concept that there is such a thing as good porn. I don’t have to worry about that anymore, as I’ll just cite Greta Christina’s blog post called Is All Porn The Same? to everyone that I want to express this thought to. Thanks Greta.
