I received notification via email about this toy. It simply stated that I would have a vibrating cock ring to try out and review. Now we've all used vibrating cock rings... You know, the ones you can pick up at the drug store: the little stretchy rubbery bands with the itty-bitty bullet strapped to it? So I purchased some at a sex toy party, assuming they would be better designed, but much to my displeasure, they were all the same.

UPS showed up at my house a few days later, and I was quite surprised by what lay inside my package. There was a nicely designed, hexagon shaped, clear plastic box with a big purple heart on top holding a royal blue thing like I had never seen before. This couldnt be the "cock ring." But sure enough, I read the box: the 4US Vibrating Ring by Rocks-Off. The information on the side panel said that the bullet was the award-winning RO-80mm and not only did batteries come with it, but the vibe is actually removeable. I took it out of the package and, sure enough, the big old shot gun shell slides out of the squishy sleeve for personal use. The vibe that is provided (with a nifty and simple push button on the tip) is powerful and intense, although only one speed is available. The sleeve that houses the bullet is about 4 inches long (seriously—shot gun shell!) and made of a nice, sleek rubbery material. The ring itself is thick with bumpy ridges lining the inside.

I was pretty excited to test this out. I felt like this was going to be a "double your weiner, double your pleasure" kind of night. I wanted to start out missionary style with the 4US because it seems that was what it was designed for. The hubby slid the ring down to the base of his manhood, and it fit just fine. I pushed the button and away we went. He squirted some lube on the end of the bullet so it would be nice and slick and... Wow! Hands-free vibrator all while being able to grab, scratch, and squirm around. The bullet was long enough to stimulate most of my nether regions while having sex at the same time. It was easy to get off. Next, the hubby flipped me over on all fours. The vibration hit that little underside treasure trove of nerve endings and I was done for. This toy is now a friend for life.

So far I have not been a big fan of vibrating toys. In general, they haven’t given me a sensation that I like, so I was a little skeptical of the 4US. For the record though, this is the first Rocks Off toy I’ve used, and I was looking forward to giving the bullet vibe in it a try since I know that this company is respected for being great manufacturers of small bullet vibes.

My first impression of the toy is that it has a good basic design. The ring has a lot of stretch without being too tight or too loose. I am larger than average and have had trouble fitting into “one-size-fits-all” cock rings in the past. Having the ring made of stretchy material at the bottom seems to be a really good way to provide a suitable fit to various cock and ball sizes while simultaneously providing stability to the vibe. The vibe part of the cock ring is at a slight angle from the ring, so you want to angle it away from your body so that it is more likely to press her clit.  Yes, this is very much a hetero-designed toy, which is why it was sent to my girlfriend and I. From my perspective, I have to say that the cock ring was very pleasant, if not thrilling feeling. However, the beauty of this product is not in how it feels. For us it worked very well once we got it the right way round and fine-tuned the position.  If your partner likes grinding, missionary sex, and can get off on a lighter vibe, the 4US is a good choice for her, and if she really likes seeing your face light up from using a men’s toy that gets you off she will really love it.

While many cock rings have a nub or vibe pocket on the top, they often don't provide very much clitoral stimulation because of poor alignment or placement of the clit-stimulating part. The 4US cock ring by Rocks-Off is designed to provide better clitoral stimulation to the fuckee by placing a long protrusion at the top of the ring with a front-facing ridge. This ridge sits over the top of your cock and is designed to hit the clit while you pump. I tried this a few times, and I am sad to report that it was only moderately effective. My partner and I tried using it missionary-style first, and it did provide a small amount of clitoral stimulation. While the alignment and positioning seem OK, the vibrator is not very powerful, and if you pump with much range of motion, the stimulation is inconsistent. It's better when you're grinding than when you're pumping. Using it doggie-style, I noticed the ring has a side effect of effectively shortening your usable cock length by about an inch, which I didn't like. In both positions, the 4US provided a nice all-over vibe to my cock, which was pleasant.

I tried pulling the ring all the way over my balls, but, this toy was a little too tight to do that comfortably.

I am neutral with respect to this toy. While I didn't have a great experience with it, I suspect the exact geometry of your parts and, more importantly, your partner's clitoral position and level of sensitivity will impact how good a toy this is for you.

The 4US seems well constructed, is easy to clean, and the removable bullet vibe is reliable and easy to operate. It stays in position well. Overall I did enjoy this cock ring, but I say that with the caveat that your mileage may vary a good bit.
