Meet Jessica Rabbit in the Flesh
A 57-year-old British great-grandmother has transformed herself into her favorite Hollywood icon, Jessica Rabbit from the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit."
Annette Edwards has spent over US$16,000 (£10,000) on plastic surgery to make herself look like the cartoon character, first reported Metro. Her surgery consisted of a breast lift, a brow lift, chin implants and Botox injections.
"I'd always been fascinated with the cartoon character Jessica Rabbit," she told "This Morning". "I thought she was stunning, and for years I longed to look like my idol."
To get the right figure with curves in the right places, Edwards went through a hell diet for three months.“I have gone through a diet, eating little like the rabbit: salads and cereals... just to get the figure right. I lost three stones (19kg) in three months,” she said during an interview in This Morning, a British television programme.
“My family thinks it’s a little crazy... I’m not Jessica when I’m home, I’m just a normal person,” she said and smiled. She said she was definitely happy with the end result of being Jessica Rabbit. “You only live once, do what makes you feel good,” she said, adding she has been contacted by Playboy on the possibility of a photo shoot.
Edwards not only fell for the cartoon character, she also loves rabbits and breeds them at home. She holds the Guinness World Records for breeding the longest rabbit in the world. The rabbit also appeared in the show.
