When stripper Nicole Forrester sold her story to the National Enquirer about her sexy one-night stand with actor Josh Duhamel, she did not expect the fall-out.

Forrester publicly apologised to Duhamel’s wife Fergie today, admitting that her decision to sell the story has been more harmful to her than to the celebrity couple. This included quitting stripping and her son saying: 'Mom, you're disgusting. I didn't know you had sex with him.'"

Forrester tells U.S. news show Extra, "I'm sorry... I thought, 'Nobody's gonna find out. It's not gonna hurt anybody.' I'm sorry that I didn't think of it (expose) like I think of it now." Forrester passed a lie-detector test in a bid to prove she's telling the truth.

Duhamel has denied cheating allegations and Black Eyed Peas' singer, Fergie is standing by her man. Coincidentally, Fergie made waves of her own by answering questions related to her bisexual experiences, weight gain, sex tapes and the size of her husband's equipment recently.
