Rammstein Returns, Demonstrates How To Get Laid In Germany

It's been eleven years since German industrial outfit Rammstein had their only American hit, 1998's ridiculous and hilarious "Du Hast".  The jokey group of angst-ridden horndogs hasn't gone away, though; they've actually put out three albums since then, and their newest, Liebe ist für alle da (Love Is For Everyone), will be out in the US a week from Tuesday.

The first single is called "Pussy," and it's not especially good.  While the sentiment is nice, the lyrics are kind of lacking:  "You have a pussy!/I have a dick-ah!/So what's the problem?/Let's do it quick!"  That's the chorus.

The song is supposedly aimed at Germans who partake in sex tourism, flying to other parts of the world because they can't get laid in their own country.  The bilingual song--the group's first #1 single in their homeland--is full of references to Mercedez Benz and blitzkriegs and, if I'm not mistaken, sticking one's bratwurst into a lady's sauerkraut.

The clincher, though, is the extremely NSFW video, which can be seen here.  Although the song is about how hard it is for Germans to hook up, the video indicates quite the opposite.  It starts off as so many videos do, with the band playing in a dark room while lots of ladies writhe around and fondle themselves somewhere else that has better lighting.  But then things quickly get raunchier, and before the first chorus even starts singer Till Lindermann is spanking a girl in a maid costume.  There's also a lot of flag waving, some actual bratwurst, and lots and lots of sex. In fact, by the end of the video every member of the band is getting it on, and viewers are treated to multiple cumshots from the band.  (My main complaint: for some reason dreamy bassist Oliver Riedel ("Mr. Pain") is all but cut out from the fucking scenes.)

The video was directed by Jonas Akerlund, who is no stranger to exploitation; he also made the (far tamer) video for Mika's "We Are Golden," which features the scrawny singer prancing around in his underwear for no particular reason.  Akerlund's also made videos for folks like Madonna ("Ray Of Light"), Lady GaGa ("Paparazzi"), and the Scissor Sisters ("Tits On The Radio"), so it's actually sort of surprising that his first venture into all-out porn is targeted towards the hetereosexual male.
