Sliquid Organics Stimulating O Gel
Stimulating your nipples and clitoris has never felt so natural! O Gel is infused with certified organic botanical extracts like aloe, hibiscus and flax, to heal, moisturize and soothe the body. Peppermint essential oil and menthol provide an exhilarating sensation, as well as a minty-fresh scent and taste. Perfect for people with sensitivities, O Gel is not only glycerin-free and paraben-free, but it's free of propylene glycol and glycerol too. It contains no sugars or artificial sweeteners and is pH balanced neutral for vaginal health. In addition to being vegan, this ecorotic product is packaged in 100% recyclable materials. Now, here's what our team of testers has to say...
The Big Chill | Cool Hand Kook | Awakenings |
Sliquid Organics O Gel is by far the best water-based lube this writer has cum across thus far.
Now, I'll admit to being a card-carrying carnivore, but as my paths frequently cross with those oh-so-cute dirty hippie types, I can appreciate the fact that this organic personal lubricant is both glycerin and paraben free – 100% vegan friendly. In my imagination, nothing would kill the mood quite like an ethical debate over Bambi's sentiments on killer KY and the ungodly environmental effects of Astroglide.
I think it is worth mentioning straight away that not only does this botanically infused product smell downright lovely with a hint of peppermint and petunias, it tastes pretty darn good, too. This is clearly an important feature for those cats who care for mid-coital cunnilingus, and/or the girls who enjoy going down on their boys between those basic penetrative positions. And then, of course, there are those ladies (myself included) who like to lick their fingers post play… And this stuff would clearly be ideal for some hot girl-on-girl action. Frankly, I'd imagine Sliquid to be simply scrumptious in any or all of the above scenarios.
When it comes to texture, this stuff is top notch. It's the closest any water-based lube that I've come across has come to feeling “just like me.” And unlike its various aquatic ancestors, it's not even remotely sticky! Sliquid dried both on my fingers and between my legs as though it had never been there in the first place... Except to say, perhaps, that I felt a touch moisturized.
The sensation of this lube directly slicked onto my clit was enjoyable to say the very least, and Sliquid quickly did the trick on my toys, too—the added bonus being that it is safe to use with all toys, silicone included!
My main piece of advice for using Sliquid Organics O Gel is to use sparingly when massaging directly onto the clitoris, as directed. One full depression of the pump yields more product than necessary. Sliquid stimulates arousal with a gentle cooling effect that encourages blood flow to the clit … and the first few times I used this product in said manner, let's just say there certainly was a chill in the air! A bit too chilly for my particular tastes.
However, the cold sensation smoothly subsided after a minute or two, at which point I was sufficiently aroused to have gotten my own juices flowing. Upon further “field research,” I came to the conclusion that one half depression of the pump produces the perfect amount of goo to get yourself going – without having to break out the electric blanket.
This lube also earned major pleasure points when I slowly rubbed it onto my breasts. The chill factor really worked for me there as my fingers plucked and pinched my rock hard nipples. Sometimes diamonds really are a girl's best friend!

Contessa in the Country
Contessa in the Country is a late 20-something midwestern maiden who spent some time on the west coast but eventually made her way home ... Bisexual, polyamorous and semi-submissive, Contessa is thrilled to be testing toys for the greater good.I have to admit to greeting Sliquid’s Stimulating O Gel with a healthy degree of skepticism when it arrived. Not because I don’t trust Sliquid, I do, they make awesome lubes and their Organics line is really wonderful. But as a semi-rough player—one who has enjoyed rubbing (gasp) Tiger Balm on her clit, I knew I’d be a hard sell.
Still, a tester must do what a tester must do, so before leaving for work in the morning I pumped a nice dollop onto my fingertips. I was greeted with a lovely and refreshing minty aroma, and I proceeded to rub some onto my clit. First, it felt cold. Then, it felt pleasantly tingly. And then, within less than five minutes, all sensation was gone and my crotch was back to normal. I wasn’t impressed, nor was I done testing.
Back at in the laboratory (pronounce that in the British way, it sounds so much more glamorous), I was determined to give it another go. I tried cajoling a co-worker into trying some, but she demurred, so back to the ladies room I went with my little bottle with the pretty lotus graphic and my Better Than Chocolate Vibe from Nomi Tang. This time I started out rubbing some on my nipples. That had no effect. Damn.
Next I moved onto rubbing more onto my apparently cast-iron clit. For an intensity junkie like me, this gel just wasn’t doing it. I much prefer a hot burn to a cool one, and I’d have to put the intensity at very mild. It did function well as a lube, making the Nomi Tang glide smoothly over my slightly tingling bits. What I did like was when I slid the Nomi Tang into my pussy and felt the cool, tingle inside. Combined with the vibe on my clit, that was definitely an added bonus.
Anyway, since it had been a while since I used Tiger Balm, the next morning I found my little octagonal jar, rubbed a teeny tiny amount on my finger and dabbed it on my clit. FIRE! First, it’s cold heat, about a thousand times more intense than the O gel, and then, watch the hell out because it becomes hot, really hot. An intense hot burn, surely not for everyone (And please don’t try this at home. It doesn’t affect me adversely, but I am sure the miniscule words I can’t read on the jar say do not apply to mucous membranes), but damn, do I love the concentrated intensity of sensation. And it lasts. It dulls after five minutes but still lingers at the thirty minute mark.
Now, that said, I think O gel would work nicely for people who want to add an extra sensation to their solo or partner play. It’s a thick, clear gel that leaves absolutely no oily residue (it is water based) and absorbs nicely into your skin. It tastes inoffensive when licked directly, tingling my tongue for a few moments, and once absorbed (yes, I licked my hand on the train in front of all these commuters), you wouldn't even know you had anything on your skin, making it great if oral is going to be on the menu. Oral should be on the menu. Let’s hear it for oral.
Sliquid Stimulating O Gel is vegan, glycerine and paraben free and infused with organic botanicals.
Me, I’m going back to the Tiger Balm. But I’m a glutton for punishment.

Tess Danesi
Tess may be a New Yorker, but she's really a gypsy at heart, albeit a gypsy who sees herself frolicking through the forest clad in garments from the season Givenchy was high on the peasant aesthetic, nimbly avoiding stray branches and skipping over rivulets while kicking up her Prada stilettos. Tess is truly the embodiment of an Urban Gypsy, the title of the blog where she writes dark and moody D/s themed erotica, reviews sex toys, shows off her generous cleavage, and generally reveals too much information. Several of Tess's oh-so-wrong-but-oh-so-right fantasies are scheduled to be published in upcoming erotica anthologies. To be truly honest, I snobbishly turn my nose up at lubes that "do things." I guess I am prejudiced against the idea of putting substances on my genitals that have been designed to heat, cool, or have some type of function that is not produced solely by my body. My worry about putting chemicals on my intimate parts is well justified since my body once had an allergic reaction to a flavored lube. That was not a fun ER visit to say the least, so I now err on the side of caution.
When I received the Stimulating O Gel from Sliquid, a company that has developed my new favorite organic water-based lube, my worries about a possible hospital trip were greatly lessened when I read the ingredients. I was actually able to pronounce most of the names, and its smell is very appealing. This surprised me. I am very picky about scents, and I really enjoyed the aroma. It made me want more. I applied a small dab of the clear gel directly under the hood of my clit and waited without touching myself. I wanted to concentrate on feeling the sensation of the gel itself initially before I added more stimulation (such as my fingers or a vibe). I quickly began to feel a slightly cool, almost crisp sensation on my clit. I relaxed instantly and began applying more gel not only to my naked clit but also my lips and anus. It was delightfully cool but not too intense, for which I was relieved. I didn't want any sensation that was too intense. Instead, application of the Sliquid Stimulating O Gel was as if my nether regions had swallowed a mild peppermint.
When I finally did rub my clit with my finger and used a high-powered vibe, I was pleasantly surprised to feel that the intensity of the lube didn’t change. It is not activated by friction, so it remained the same subtle coolness after play. It lasted at its peak intensity for about 15 minutes to half an hour, but I could still feel the touch of its subtle, cool kiss after an hour or two. This is why I use Dr. Brommer’s peppermint soap in the shower for all my nooks and crannies. I like the fresh and clean feeling of waking my genitals up the same way many people use caffeine each morning.

Sliquid
I'm not much for "stimulating" gels, but I must admit, I love Sliquid's Stimulating O Gel. It's cool, tingly sensation provides just the right sensation and it's consistency rocks as a lube. It's a winner in my book!
