Hymen-Glyphics: Egypt to Pop Fake Virgins
The BBC reports that a well-known Egyptian scholar is calling for the death penalty for anyone caught importing devices that women can use to fake their virginity. Professor Abdul Mouti Bayoumi of al-Azhar University said that supplying such items is the moral equivalent of spreading vice, which is punishable by death under Islamic Sharia law. Marrying a virgin bride is a measure of prestige in many Middle Eastern countries; therefore, premarital sex is often stigmatized in these cultures. As a result, a shadowy industry has emerged through which non-virgin women can either restore their hymens surgically or via certain devices that mimick the hymen.
The device in question represents a cheaper, easier alternative to surgery. The Artificial Virginity Hymen is a pad placed in the vagina prior to what will be the woman's second "first time." Body heat causes the pad to expand, supposedly making the wearer feel tighter. Following penetration, the pad will expel a small amount of fluid with the look and consistency of blood. The device is reportedly non-toxic and hypoallergenic. All the women needs to do is "add in a few moans and groans, you will pass through undetectable." The artificial virginity hymen costs approximately $30 and ships from China. Now you can fake it before, during, and after sex. Or every time can be the "first time."
The Egyptian parliament is currently considering an outright ban on these and similar devices.

With all respect to Islamic law virgin brides are pretty boring in bed. when I was younger I had this thing about seeking out virgins and taking them as girlfriends because I thought they were better people because of that virginity.
Not only was that not true, the sex was not that good either. It takes a lot more than a tight hole and a little blood to make a good lover. Most religions have silly ideas and most cultures do as well, but this is probably one of the top ten silly ones I have seen in the past few years.
Biology proves that people were having sex way before any religion that restricted sexual behavior existed and those people lived and died their lives just like we do, but I bet you, they were happier. Religion and god are not about rules and regulations, well they are but then you miss the whole point.
Religion and God are about learning yourself and how you fit into the grand scheme of things and developing a personal relationship with the creator of this awesome universe. You can think differently than I do, but i bet you won't have as much fun :)
