San Francisco's Exotic Erotic Ball Turns 30

Exotic Erotic Ball Logo

A lot of the people who will attend the 30th Annual Exotic Erotic Ball in October weren't even born when the first one happened. After a somewhat shaky event last year on Treasure Island, the ball is back at its tried-and-true home, the Cow Palace, and promises to be bigger, better and raunchier than ever.

The organizers expect over 30,000 attendees dressed in their sexy finest: if there's one thing San Francisco knows how to do, it's have a Halloween party. This year, the show features a two-day expo starting on Friday, followed by the party itself from 9PM to 2AM on Saturday night.

CarnalNation is a media-sponsor for this year's ball. As the event gets nearer, we'll be giving away tickets, including the coveted VIP tickets, and publishing insider info on some of the acts you'll be seeing on stage this year. On the night itself, we'll have a video crew at the ball to capture the debauchery in glorious HD. CarnalNation contributors and some sexy special guests will be at our booth in the expo, so be sure to come by and say hi. This is going to be fun.

In the meantime, here's the trailer.

30th annual halloween ball

It's natural, I suppose, for people (Mr. Mann, for example) to imagine that events like the Ball really originated when they came on the scene, 30 years ago, by his reckoning. I first attended the Ball in 1963 or 1964, about 45 years ago, when we didn't know whether we'd be arrested or not. So without taking anything away from Perry Mann, I'd just like to say that the tradition began at least 15 years before 1979.
