When I received my new Gigi Rechargeable Vibrator by LELO (yes, I said rechargeable), I was super excited. My BO by LELO has been a wonderful addition to my toy box and has given me hours of pleasure, so I know the company puts out some rockin toys.

Upon initial glance at the packaging, again, LELO does not disappoint. The packaging included a solid black box with velvet lining, a charger, warranty information, instructions, and a handy silk storage pouch.

The design of the Gigi is pretty darn cool, I must admit. And I am not generally impressed easily.  It’s a small wand with a flat head, which may be designed more for female play, but despite being flat, even a starter could give it a try with anal play. It comes in three colors: Deep Rose, Petal Pink and Turquoise Blue. Thankfully, I got the blue.  The dial/control panel of this groovy toy is at the base and is a dial of sorts. Very easy to use although a few times at first, I hit the dial inadvertently and the toy would change speeds or modes. Not a pleasant experience when you are “almost there.”

Now here is where the design gets cool. There are 5 different modes (slow pulse, faster pulse, incredibly fast pulse, pulsing waves, and constant pulse), and each one of those modes can be adjusted in intensity!!!  It’s a pretty cool toy in that regard.

The Gigi did get put to the test the first day. I quickly got used to the dial and all of the different modes or settings. Gay-boy toys don’t often come with all of those settings...so I needed some adjustment. There’s a lot to this little toy, so I wanted to get used to it first so that I could know what it could deliver. 

I began my initial session the following day with the Gigi turning it on to the slow pulse mode at a lower speed for a little foreplay. I started jacking off and ran the Gigi down my cock and on my balls. I also used it on my nipples…INCREDIBLE. The vibe on this baby is intense. This got me pretty worked up, so I put some lube on the toy, threw a pillow under my back, put my legs in the air, and stuck it by my hole. I teased it a little bit while turning the vibe down even lower. It was the perfect setting to get me loosened up and ready for entry all the why jerking my cock. The flat head on this toy is not really conducive to anal play, so I kind of took my time not knowing what to expect.

I inserted the flat tip very slowly, and it hit the spot immediately, which was a HUGE surprise. I did expect this toy to disappoint me a little because of the design as well as the small size. But it did the job…especially when I put it on the fast pulse mode and increased the speed very slowly from low to high. It felt like I was getting fucked…and I mean fucked HARD. It did take me a bit longer with this toy to cum however…the curvature doesn’t hit the “p-spot” that well. But I made it work.

The versatility of the Gigi was not extensive for me due to its curvature, size, and flat head. However, that being said, it even did the job for this relatively experienced toy user.

I have a new wish list.  I would love a LELO-designed toy like this that's made more for anal play, especially for the guy.  The pulse settings are/were intense, and if I could have something a little bigger, curved, and designed for anal…I know which toy would be at the top of my arsenal every time.

This toy is easy to use once you get the hang of it.  But with all of the features it offers, it is worth the learning curve. It is also is very easy to clean.  And as always, make sure you use a water-based lube with this one boys and girls.

At a retail price of $109, I’m not sure this is the most economical or practical of purchases. However, I was very impressed.  Especially for the ladies, bi boys and girls, poly’s, and everyone else in between…get 'em while their hot. This toy is pretty damn incredible.
