Brothel Offers Discount for Green Customers

For those of you in the jet set who find yourself traveling through Germany in the next few months, remember two things: first, prostitution is legal in Germany, so there are lots of things to do besides looking at architectural marvels. Second, at least one of Berlin's legal brothels will give discounts to its clients who decide to travel green. If you show up at the Maison d'envie on a bicycle, they'll knock €5 (about US$7) off their fee. A one-hour session at the brothel costs €90, or about $US100. Thomas Goetz, the owner, says that so far about 3-5 clients have been biking in to take advantage of the discount. "It’s good for business," Goetz says, "it’s good for the environment—and it’s good for the girls." We're still pondering over how the last one follows, unless perhaps the effort of pedaling means that the client becomes more interested in paying for the bed than for sex, thereby making the work a lot easier.

Let's speculate

There's a number of reasons biking might be good for the girls...

* Fit clients probably make the job more pleasant

* The client may come in sweaty and shower first, meaning they'll be clean

* Exercise produces endorphins...they come in happy and horny?

* Smog-free air makes for happy hookers?

* Surely there's more

What a WONDERFUL Idea!

I'd like to see more businesses offering 'green' discounts. Now this is a trendy advertising opportunity, all the while saving the planet from the smog our autos put out every single day!

hookers

Miscalculation

90 euros is actually $125
