Daily business wear in the CarnalNation offices tends to be pretty casual. The daily wear tends towards t-shirts and jeans with sneakers, with the exception of one staff member who's addicted to Fluevog boots. Even we have our limits on how casual business wear should be, though. That is to say, we don't get naked in the office. David Taylor, a British "business psychologist" seems to think that the key to increased productivity, however, is to have "Naked Fridays."  Says Taylor, "Inviting an organization to go naked is the most extreme technique I’ve used. It may seem weird, but it works. It’s the ultimate expression of trust in yourself and each other." The idea is that when the clothes come off, the walls of inhibition and mistrust that block communication between employees will also come down. This method was recently applied to onebestway, a marketing and design firm in Newcastle, England. Through a gradual process, Taylor got all but two of the staff members, one man and one woman, to get completely nude in the office. Sam Jackson, the manager, was the only woman to go completely naked, and was very enthusiastic about Taylor's experiment and his results: "It was brilliant," she said. "Now that we've seen each other naked, there are no barriers. We weren't put under pressure. If we wanted to come in clothed or in our underwear, we could. But I love my body and wasn't ashamed." The process of bringing Naked Fridays to onebestway was taped as a one-episode reality show called Naked Office, which will be broadcast in England on July 9.
